Our racing-team have however several, partly massive problems finished again the – how it call oneself – hardest stage-race in the world. After about 800 km and 25’000 Meter of height difference there was attend a champagne-douche for the outstanding lead-dog “Mini-Mouse”, the musher and handler at the finish line.
Our Computer for receiving Emails was down since Friday 5th December late noon. After a new installaton and the rerecord from the Back up, again everyting stand still. On the second try it was impossible to rerecord the Back up – it seams as they get demanged on first try.
Finaly – We do not have access on each Email was send bevor Monday 7th December. If there was an important one from you, please send it agein.

Would you like to know since long time, what professionals sled-dog-teams are doing the whole year ?
Sure, there are lots of movies about sled-dogs. Screen plays based on the novel of Jack London, documentary about races until to cheesy Disney-Productions.
But something like that was never done – follow a whole year a competitive professional sled-dog-team from summer-training until the northernmost long-distance sled-dog-race in the world. Experience musher’s up and downs… and what it means, after a year of preparation and 3’500 km travel to a Race, to scratch it for once…
The professional film crew Grand Nord FILMS which has received deep insight to a musher everyday life, shoots also for the toughest stage-race in the world.
For sure we could say „overbooked“… but this is a) not truth and b) in fact we talking about professional development.
In case that our dogs do not run only four the tourists the same circle around theirs howl life, but participate at real long-distance races – and these taking place in the main season – we give us a Timeout form 8. to 22. January 2010.
